Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Training:
Integrating the Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Elements to Effective Teaching
A faith-based training approach in learning the standard components of SEL: Self-awareness, Social Awareness, Self-management, Relationship skills, and Responsible decision making, with added components that address the importance of physical and mental health on overall wellbeing and effectiveness. Basic instructions also given on how to integrate Social and Emotional Learning into all aspects of your classroom teaching.
THE POWER OF WORDS Workshop:
“Life and Death are in the power of the tongue” Proverbs 12:18
This “Power of Words” workshop is a powerful interactive experience that educates participants in reflecting on the power of their words and how “we truly are the words we speak”. We also began to cultivate the awareness of one’s mental health as it pertains to elevating the perception of self. In this primary workshop, we empower students by teaching them how to confidently use the word “I AM.”
