This is a powerful dialogue between parents/adults & youth/children. This workshop creates the space for therapeutic conversations to occur between adults and their children where authentic communication sheds light to deep personal needs of both parent and child. Additionally, education and some training is provided around the topic of mental health as it relates to the different concerns that usually presents itself. 

(Speaking Truth Acquiring New Direction)

This workshop is unique as it is customized to the client needs underneath the umbrella of anything that affects our Mental Health- topics include mental illness, physical abuse, substance abuse, interpersonal relationship conflicts, healthy eating & nutrition, identity, community violence and social issues. 

This “Power of Words” workshop is a powerful interactive experience that educates participants in reflecting on the power of their words and how “we truly are the words we speak”. We also began to cultivate the awareness of one’s mental health as it pertains to elevating the perception of self. In this primary workshop, we empower students by teaching them how to confidently use the word “I AM.”

(Assisting Nigerian Girls in Education Leadership and Sisterhood)

The A.N.G.E.L.S Project is a year long program offered to learning institutions and nonprofit orginizations to help young 'Black" girls in today's society who are in need of financial support and positive focus. We aim to promote the importance of education, leadership, and sisterhood, while acknowledging how important our roles are as not only women, but as women with purpose, who can be a beneficial asset to our society as a whole.

A re-entry initiative to assist incarcerated youth under the age of 21 to re-enter society in pursuit of a brighter future towards a healthy mental state of mind. Project U-Knight helps guide each participant from one chapter of his or her life to the next.  The program is a yearlong intensive treatment program that focuses on faith based principles from mental health, education, spiritual growth and community enhancement. Individuals complete the program understanding the importance and benefits of having a balanced lifestyle and a healthy mind, body and soul. It also intends to promote returning back to school in pursuit of a higher education. 

A faith-based training approach in learning the standard components of SEL: Self-awareness, Social Awareness, Self-management, Relationship skills, and Responsible decision making, with added components that address the importance of physical and mental health on overall wellbeing and effectiveness.  Basic instructions also given on how to integrate Social and Emotional Learning into all aspects of your classroom teaching.
